Fascinating Fasciae: Latest News from the Field of Connective Tissue Research
Since the 1st Fascia Research Congress in Boston in 2007 the field of fascia research has become one of the most dynamic investigation fields within musculoskeletal medicine.
Dr. Schleip is in the unique position of having been a bodywork practitioner for over 30 years in addition to being active as a researcher himself. He knows most of the international laboratories in the field of fascia research personally, and therefore he is often one of the first to know about new developments and discoveries in this dynamic field.
In this informative lecture he will focus on scientific advances related to fascial tissues which have emerged during the last few years and also few months before this conference. Among these he will emphasize those which offer relevant contributions for the fields of manual therapy and/or movement therapy. He loves to serve as a cross-bridge between scientific findings and therapeutic applications, as well as for the other direction: taking new observations and questions from clinicians and relating them back to his laboratory colleagues world wide.
